The first piece, entitled “Notes on the South,” constitutes the bulk of the text. Truly an excellent story, one that screams for a sequel, with characters that are easy to care about and leave you anxious to find out what new adventures await them. Pos: This book did give me a few tips that I thought I should look into. Characterization, storyline, theme coalesce nicely, and the story wraps up well.
